This archive contains data, derived data products, and models presented in "Searching for lunar horizon glow with the Lunar Orbiter Laser Altimeter" by Barker et al., JGR: Planets Below is a description of the files in this archive: LASCO_2005_532nm.xyz: Master composite image from a minimum filter of 24 C2/C3 image pairs in 2005 File format is 3-column double precision binary: (1) Longitude of pixel center (2) Latitude of pixel center (3) Log10(Brightness [Bsun]), where Bsun is the mean brightness of the Sun at 532-nm Individual composite images of 12 C2/C3 image pairs in 2016: (same format as above) LASCO_C2_Oran_20160141248_LASCO_C3_Clea_20160141242_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20160610612_LASCO_C3_Clea_20160610606_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20160751012_LASCO_C3_Clea_20160751006_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20160841448_LASCO_C3_Clea_20160841442_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20160920438_LASCO_C3_Clea_20160920432_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20160990312_LASCO_C3_Clea_20160990306_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20161421325_LASCO_C3_Clea_20161421254_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20161820248_LASCO_C3_Clea_20161820306_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20162260748_LASCO_C3_Clea_20162260742_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20162800412_LASCO_C3_Clea_20162800418_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20162841248_LASCO_C3_Clea_20162841254_532nm.xyz LASCO_C2_Oran_20163212212_LASCO_C3_Clea_20163212206_532nm.xyz *.fts: Original C2/C3 LASCO images in FITS format. These were used to make the above *.xyz composite images. grain_size_dist_table.dat: ASCII text table of single-grain radiance at 532-nm (in units of Bsun) for three different grain size distributions: monodisperse, lognormal, and power-law (see the paper for details). The table has 8 columns: (1) Forward-scattering (elongation) angle (degrees) (2) Monodisperse with r = 0.1 um (Bsun) (3)-(7) Lognormal with rp = 0.1, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25, 0.30 um (Bsun) (8) LADEE-LDEX power law with coefficient 0.91 and minimum r = 0.05 um (Bsun) scan_*.dat: ASCII text tables for each scan listing data and models in 10 columns. Filename format is scan_ID.dat where ID is the scan ID# from Table S1 of the paper. (1) Seconds from sunrise or sunset (2) Dark-subtracted data (Bsun) (3) Data error: standard error of the mean (Bsun) (4) Mean elongation angle of unobscured boresights (degrees) (5) Visibility (6) CZL model (Bsun) (7) Fiducial Apollo 15 model (Bsun) (8) Best-fit Apollo 15 model (Bsun) (9) Detector temperature (degrees Celsius) (10) Best-fit dark current (Bsun)
